Multiplayer lobby: unable to start game, when connection to a player is lost during game preparation

When a player leaves the game preparations intentionally, all players drop back to the lobby menu. But when the connection is lost, nothing happens, and the game doesn't start. A fallback into lobby menu should also be executed in this case.
